May employment unexpectedly fell 2.5k after rising 87.6k but the unemployment rate was stable at 4.1% for the third straight month. Beijing has called on Washington to cease discriminatory measures and honour the Geneva consensus, according to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce, following a U.S. industry warning against using Chinese semiconductors, including Huawei.
