MNI BRIEF: StatsCan Delays Next Trade Report After US Shutdown

Statistics Canada is set to again delay publication of monthly trade balance figures that were due Dec. 4, with the data disrupted by the U.S. government shutdown that deprived the agency of American customs figures. 

The agency's bi-weekly schedule mentions a "Delay of publication of monthly Canadian international trade data" without providing further explanation.
