MNI BRIEF: China U.S. Trade Relations Need Dialogue - Wang

Dialogue and communication remains the correct choice for China and the U.S. to handle trade relations, Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao told reporters on Friday in Beijing. 

Wang said the four rounds of trade talks between the two countries proves solutions can be found on the basis of mutual respect.

U.S. and China trade connections are too strong for their economies to disentangle, but they also lack the political ability to make the deep changes to significantly ease imbalances underlying their tensions, former S&P Global vice chairman Paul Sheard recently told MNI.
