POWER: France Cuts Cordemais Coal Output Amid Strike

France’s EdF has curtailed coal-fired generation at the Cordemais 4 and 5 plants amid industrial action on Thursday, remit data showed.
- 580MW Cordemais 5 is scheduled to be down until 12 December 22:00CET, after halting on 9 December, with the earliest return in operation on 15 December 18:00CET.
- 580MW Cordemais 4 is scheduled to be offline until 12 December 22:00CET, after halting on 9 December, with the earliest return date on 14 December 02:00CET.
- The CGT, FO, CNT, Sud, Fsu, Unef and Convergences 72 unions have called for industrial action on Thursday.

- US Treasuries are seeing another round of selling, the lower liquidity helps exacerbate some of the moves, and takes smaller size clips to move the needle.
- TYA is sold in over 12k, and FVA 12k, couple of large clips respectively, all cumulative volumes, no Blocks.
- Initial support is unchanged at 119.14 in TYZ4, and European Govies are fading once again, mostly two way flows in European Govies so far this week.
EQUITIES: Europe remains under pressure

- Estoxx futures is still trading heavy so far today, and while US Equities have seen some unwind lower from overbought territory on likely profit taking and squaring some positions, the likes of the Emini (ESZ4) is still mostly underpinned and trades in very tight 20 points range so far today.
- Investors will be keeping a close eye on the Estoxx (VGZ4), and any further extensions through last Week's low of 4796.00.
- A clear break through would expose the more important 4757.00 level.
