The latest quarter of earnings for Canadian oil producers had similar themes to the US with production preforming on the high end or exceeding guidance.
- Several of the facilities have been ramping production from projects that began producing earlier in the year and much of maintenance has concluded.
- There are a few new projects expected to ramp in 2026, and a few waiting to be sanctioned.
- CNRL is expecting to ramp production next year when they bring expansions online at Primrose and Pike.
- Cenovus was ahead of schedule on the Foster Creek expansion and is looking to have first production at their West White Rose offshore platform in 2Q26.
- Athabasca is looking for the next growth phase of their Leismer facilities next summer and sanction a new project at Corner.
