A bearish threat in Brent futures remains present and today’s move down reinforces the bearish theme. The break lower confirms a resumption of the downtrend - support at $64.00 has been breached. This also maintains the price sequence of lower lows and lower highs. Sights are on a move towards $60.85, the May 30 low. Initial firm resistance has been defined at $69.87, the Sep 26 high.
