"YPF Says It’s Not A Party in Turnover Proceedings Filed in NY" - Bbg
Argentina government-controlled energy company YPF in an SEC filing announces that it is not a party to the proceedings in a U.S. Court.
To the extent that the government has to actually hand over the shares and it slows down the company's operations it could be negative but more likely in our view we don't think the company will be affected materially based on what we know now.
A U.S. Judge, Loretta Preska, ordered the Argentina government to turnover its 52% ownership in YPF shares as partial payment for a USD16bn judgement from 2023 which is still being appealed.
The judge has in the past specified that YPF is not liable for the government's expropriation of the company in 2012 or the harm it allegedly caused to minority shareholders.
YPFDAR 2034s were last quoted USD99.95, 8.26% YTW which was 9bp lower QTD and 24bp lower than new issue pricing January 2025.

Next support undercuts at 95.420 (pierced), the Feb 13 low, ahead of 95.275, the Nov 14 low and a key support. Clearance of this level would strengthen a bearish condition. To the upside, a recovery of recent losses would shift attention to resistance at 96.207, a Fibonacci retracement point.
