Production from the Permian Basin is currently 20 bcf/d, down around 1.3%, or 264 mmcf/d, on the day. This compares to a 30-day average of 20.61 bcf/d.

  • Exports from Permian were down to 16.779 bcf/d, down slightly by about 100 mmcf/d from the previous day of 16.904 bcf/d. This was driven mostly by a drop in exports to the Gulf Coast of about 150 mmcf/d, mostly along the Gulf Coast Express pipeline, offset by a 50 mmcf/d increase in exports to the Desert Southwest.
  • EPNG's maintenance schedule shows offline capacity today at 1.861 bcf/d compared to 1.879 bcf/d yesterday.
  • US Gulf end user demand is at 18.81bcf/d, down by around 0.82bcf/d on the day. Demand is 0.09 bcf/d above the 30-day average.
  • Texas' cumulative CDD count for the coming two weeks is 47 above normal. El Paso CDD count for the next 14 days is 48 above normal.
  • Exports to Mexico from West Texas are stable today at 2.1 bcf/d. This compares to 2.1 bcf/d the previous day and the 30-day average of 1.89 bcf/d.
