CNH: USD/CNY Fixing Edges Lower, Error Term Stays Negative

The USD/CNY fixing printed at 7.1938, versus a BBG market consensus of 7.2118.
- Today's fixing is the lowest outcome since April 3 of this year. The fixing error was little changed at -180pips, but remained negative.
- USD/CNH dipped to 7.1982 post the fixing, but found some support. We were last back above 7.2000. The USD is weaker against the likes of JPY and CHF so far today, but CNH is lagging these trends.
