The US total oil and gas rig count was up 7 rigs on the week at 544 rigs, according to Baker Hughes.
- This puts total US oil and gas rigs down 45, or 7.6% on the year.

- Oil: 422 (-2) - down 60 rigs, or 12.4% on the year and the lowest since September 2021.
- Gas: 117 (9) - up 16 rigs, or 15.8% on the year. The highest since March 2024
- Miscellaneous: 5 (0) - down 1 rig on the year.
- Canada: 172 (10) - down 39 rigs, or 18.5% on the year.
