SECURITY: US Offers Hamas A Two Month Extension Of Gaza Ceasefire - SkyArabia

Sky News Arabia reporting that the Trump administration has offered Hamas a two-month extension of the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire deal, if the Palestinian group agrees to release 10 Israeli hostages, according to a Palestinian source. 

• Sky Arabia reports: "The American proposal to Hamas includes opening the crossings and resuming the entry of humanitarian aid," adding that a Palestinian source said, "Hamas is still studying its response to the American proposal"
• The first phase of the Gaza ceasefire deal expired on Saturday without an agreement in place to extend the truce, or transition to Phase 2 of the deal - a full Israeli military withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and final hostage exchanges.
• The Trump administration confirmed yesterday that US officials had engaged directly for the first time with Hamas, designated a terrorist organisation by the Clinton administration in 1997.
• Trump issued an ultimatum to Hamas in a message on Truth Social yesterday: “Shalom Hamas” means Hello and Goodbye - You can choose. Release all of the Hostages now, not later, and immediately return all of the dead bodies of the people you murdered, or it is OVER for you. …  I am sending Israel everything it needs to finish the job, not a single Hamas member will be safe if you don’t do as I say … RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW, OR THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY LATER!”
