US LNG: US LNG Weekly Update - Week of October 24th

Oct-24 16:55

See LNG Weekly Summary Here: US_LNG_Weekly_2025-10-24.pdf

LNG feedgas reached 17.2 Bcf/d today, which is up 0.6 Bcf/d from last week and 0.8 Bcf/d compared with the 30-day average.

  • Plaquemines hit a new record for feedgas demand yesterday, reaching 3.7 Bcf/d, but is slightly lower today. With approvals to introduce hazardous fluids into block 17, and all remaining blocks entering start up phases we are watching for incremental feed gas to come in the next few weeks.
  • Corpus Christi feedgas continues to lag previous year’s levels, with ~0.2 Bcf/d less feedgas month-to-date compared with the previous two years. The facility typically runs at 2.3 Bcf/d at the start of winter.
  • Cameron at 2.0 Bcf/d today is also ~0.1 Bcf/d below the prior 2-year average and typically runs at 2.2-2.3 Bcf/d through the winter months.

BOE: Greene also discusses the prospect of "skipping cuts"

Sep-24 16:42

Greene: "I place a substantial premium on avoiding such policy reversals, as they threaten central bank credibility. A more restrictive stance that takes this aversion to policy reversals into account could, in my view, instead mean skipping cuts."
