CZECHIA: Ukraine's President Zelensky Might Visit Czechia This Weekend

- The Castle announced that President Petr Pavel will be hosting an unspecified 'foreign head of state' on Sunday and Seznam Zpravy sources suggested that it will be Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The government has not yet commented on this report.
- The CNB released its 2024 Annual Report yesterday, which 'looks back on the period during which it managed to reduce inflation to close to the two percent target and thus restore price stability in the country.' The CNB reminded that last year it brought its gold holdings to more than 50t, with the target of accumulating 100t by 2028.
- Czech markets are closed for the Labour Day.
