POWER: Statkraft Raises 2025 Power Output on Hydro Generation

Statkraft’s power generation has increased so far this year, largely driven by higher hydropower generation in the northern part of Norway, it said.
- Statkraft’s power generation in the third quarter of this year rose to 15.8TWh, from 13.3TWh a year earlier.
- Total power output in the first three quarters of this year increased to 52.7TWh, from 47.1GWh in 2024.
- Hydropower generation in Q3 2025 reached 12.8TWh, up from 10TWh a year earlier.
- In the January-September period, hydro generation rose to 43.7TWh, up from 39.4TWh in 2024.
- Statkraft’s wind generation fell on the year to 2.3TWh in Q3 2025, from 2.5TWh a year earlier, while January-September output rise by 1TWh on the year to 5.7TWh.
