Wires report that Senator Francis 'Chiz' Escudero agreed to step down as Senate President just a month after securing re-election amid a probe into government flood projects linked with his top campaign donor. After declaring the position vacant, the upper house promptly elected Senate Minority Leader Vincente 'Tito' Sotto, whose candidacy in the mid-term election earlier this year was endorsed by President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr.

To the upside, next resistance is at 96.207, a Fibonacci retracement point. Next support undercuts at 95.420 (pierced), the Feb 13 low, ahead of 95.275, the Nov 14 low and a key support.
