The Russell 2000 overnight range was 2375.37 - 2441.60, closing -2.77%. The Russell 2000 had a huge reversal as small caps led the move lower in risk overnight. The price action looks quite ugly and it is breaking below the pivotal 2380-2400 support area. The market has piled into risk early looking for the end of year rally but this move has the potential to flush out a few longs before we start that process. A clear move below 2350-2380 could see this move begin to pick up momentum with a pullback back toward the 2150-2250 support area potentially on the cards.
