- As a reminder, following the resignation of ex-Finance Minister Guevara on Tuesday, President Petro had been reported to be close to appointing Germán Ávila as his replacement.
- Ávila has reportedly already had meetings at the finance ministry and becomes the fourth person to hold the position throughout President Petro's term.
