US NATGAS: New England Update – demand lulls

- Total Demand into New England revised 230 mmcf lower to 2.99 bcf, which is down 3.05% d/d.
- The latest GFS 15day forecast for Boston has total HDDs at 316.96 which is an increase of 0.18 HDDs compared to the previous run. And is 21 HDDs colder than the 10yr normal.
- Bloomberg has end user demand 94 mmcf/d lower on the day, comprised of 34% power demand, 54% residential and commercial demand, and 12% industrial demand.
- Power demand decreased by 44 mmcf, ResCom demand decreased by 34 mmcf, and Industrial demand decreased by 15 mmcf d/d.
- Canadian imports revised 7 mmcf higher to 179 mmcfd, compared to the 7-day average of 205 mmcf/d.
- LNG supply from Everett remains at zero mmcf.
- Operational utilization at the Chaplin compressor station on AGT revised 98 mmcfd lower to 731 mmcfd, to 64% operational capacity.
