Warmer-than-normal Boston weather and only modestly short New England gas balances make the near-term setup mildly bearish for Algonquin CG
- Boston week-ahead weather forecasts are calling for warmer-than-normal weather, bearish for Algonquin CG. Boston cumulative HDDs increased by 0.72 compared with the prior forecast.
- The New England imbalance is -0.3 Bcf/d today, 0.27 Bcf/d shorter than yesterday and 0.25 Bcf/d shorter than last week.
- New England demand is 3.7 Bcf/d today, up 0.29 Bcf/d from yesterday and up 0.11 Bcf/d from last week.
- Appalachian inflows are 3 Bcf/d today, up 0 Bcf/d from yesterday and down 0.05 Bcf/d from last week.
- Canadian imports reached 0.4 Bcf/d today, up 0.03 Bcf/d from yesterday and down 0.02 Bcf/d from last week.
