With 100% of ballots counted in the Moldovan legislative election, it is officially confirmed that the pro-EU Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) has retained its majority in Parliament, allowing President Maia Sandu and the European Union to breathe a sigh of relief. The election has been dominated by accusations of Russian interference, and a win for the Russophile Patriotic Election Bloc (BEP) could have caused significant political unrest in the Eastern European nation.
