  • Former President Donald Trump’s barnstorming fundraising streak has continued, almost entirely erasing that the huge campaign financing advantage President Biden has enjoyed for most of the year.
  • A group of Senate Democrats agreed yesterday that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) should force a vote on the bipartisan tax bill which overwhelmingly passed the House in January.
  • The Treasury Department concluded in their semi-annual currency report that no major US trading partner appeared to have manipulated its currency last year, but seven countries - China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Germany -are on Treasury’s “Monitoring List.”
  • The Supreme Court yesterday upheld a major piece of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, ruling against a conservative-backed bid widely seen as an attempt pre-emptively block Congress from ever adopting a wealth tax.
