MNI BRIEF: SCO To Launch Development Bank

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will launch a development bank as soon as possible to provide stronger support for economic cooperation among member states, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Monday.

Speaking at the SCO leaders meeting, Xi said the bloc was now the world's largest regional organisation with an economy of nearly USD30 trillion.
