China’s Ministry of Commerce will implement anti-circumvention measures on imports of certain single-mode optical fibre products from the United States,according to a notice from the ministry on Thursday.
The move comes after China launched its first anti-circumvention investigation on March 4, prompted by a request from a local company, the notice said, explaining that anti-circumvention investigations aim to uphold existing trade remedy measures and ensure effective implementation.
The need for Beijing to deploy additional large-scale stimulus such as extra special treasuries this year and the China-U.S. tariff truce until mid-November could trigger front-loaded exports, advisors recently told MNI. (See MNI: China's Fiscal Expansion Needs Decrease)
