China has added three U.S. companies to its Unreliable Entity List, a mechanism used to sanction foreign entities, the Ministry of Commerce announced on Thursday.
Saronic Technologies, Alcon Corporation and International Ocean Engineering were added after engaging in military technology cooperation with Taiwan, the Ministry said.
U.S. President Donald Trump's recent calls for the EU and other G7 powers to impose 100% tariffs on China and India was mainly aimed at Japan, a European trade source told MNI. (See MNI:Trump Tariff Threats Reflect Disengagement-EU)
