AmSpec, a global commodities inspection and certification company regularly cited alongside official agencies for its tracking of bulk cargo movements, reports that Malaysian palm oil exports rose 7.29% MoM in September to 1.44mn tons. Palm oil remains a key agricultural commodity for Malaysia—alongside rubber, timber, cocoa, pepper, and kenaf—and accounts for about 3% of the nation’s GDP.
