Main stories recap:
· Ahead of tomorrow’s U.S. CPI report and with a lack of any news surprises, both equity indexes and U.S. Treasuries were little changed.
· The EM primary market remained quiet to start the week. Asia and CEEMEA benchmark bond spreads in the secondary market were mixed while in Latam they were generally tighter.
· Colombia sovereign bonds outperformed, tightening about 8bp, in the wake of a nearly USD3bn bond tender of mostly 20 year and longer maturities funded with a European loan.
· Bonds of Brazil’s Braskem underperformed, widening about 7bp, after reporting much weaker than expected results late last week.
