We have been noting this week that the RBI are becoming more wary and attentive toward liquidity concerns and particularly the mismatch between onshore/offshore markets - these steps here look to be the bank further addressing the market - injecting liquidity via a long-term USD/INR swap operation.
- The auction set to amount to $10bln, with a tenor of three years.
