Amid the launching of a major ground offensive into Gaza City, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) are also conducting airstrikes on "military infrastructure" targets in Hodeida, a key port in the west of Yemen controlled by Houthi rebels. Emmanuel Fabian at Times of Israel posts on X: "The port is used by the Houthis to smuggle weapons to Yemen from Iran, which are then used in attacks on Israel and its allies, the military says. The strikes come following repeated Houthi ballistic missile and drone attacks on Israel, the latest on Sunday. Defense Minister Israel Katz says the strike on Hodeida Port in Yemen is aimed at continuing "the naval and aerial blockade on the Houthi terror organization."

Aussie 10-yr futures received a boost from the US Treasury rally that followed both the recent poor NFP print as well as Tuesday’s inflation number. While this impact faded into the close of the week, 10-year futures remain toward the top end of the recent range. To the upside, next resistance is at 96.207, a Fibonacci retracement point. Next support undercuts at 95.420 (pierced), the Feb 13 low, ahead of 95.275, the Nov 14 low and a key support. Clearance of this level would strengthen a bearish condition.
