"Honduras May Economic Activity Rises 3.5% Y/y" - Bbg
Honduras' economic activity rose 3.5% YoY in May versus revised +2.0% in April, according to the Central Bank of Honduras as reported by Bloomberg.
This growth rate seems to be in line with the IMF's expected 3.3% real GDP projection for 2025, though we note that the IMF was looking for 3.5% earlier in the year then revised down consistent with its world view of slowing global growth.
The IMF disbursed USD160mn last month. The total IMF program signed in September 2023 was for USD823mn for 36 months, of which USD475mn was disbursed.
HONDUR 2034s were last quoted T+ 348bp, 100bp tighter since March 31st and 61bp tighter YTD.
