See the latest German wind output forecast for base-load hours from SpotRenewables vs Bloomberg’s ECMWF model for the next seven days as of Wednesday afternoon.
- Both models have similar wind forecasts on 1 May and 4 May, with the smallest deviations on those days at between 0.11-0.80GW.
- The largest deviations are over 8-9 May as the models are seen diverging, with SpotRenewables estimating wind to climb sharply on 8 May from 7 May, while ECMWF predicts wind to fall.
On 9 May, SpotRenewables expects wind to edge down slightly from 8 May, while ECMWF predicts wind to climb, albeit remaining well below SpotRenewables wind output forecast.
