EUAs Dec25 are edging down, retreating from a one-week high, weighed by a 2% intraday decline in TTF since its peak at noon. Uncertainty over US tariffs and recent downward revisions to temperature forecasts can also further suppress carbon price. UKAs Dec25 are rising to a 10-day high, supported by morning gains in EUAs and shifting to track UK equities in the late afternoon, following news from the Prime Minister’s office that Keir Starmer is set to meet Donald Trump during a private visit to Scotland later this month.

- ICE EUA futures remain above the Jun 30 low. A short-term bearish threat is in place - for now - and gains appear corrective. Recent weakness has resulted in a breach of a number of support points. This undermines a bull theme and note too that support at €69.60, the May 19 low, has also been pierced. A clear break of this level would highlight a stronger reversal. First resistance to watch is €74.57, the Jun 24 high.
