- We don't expect there to be a 7-year BTP on offer next week now and there is a good chance that the 3-year BTP is the only bond on offer next week (although there is still scope for a 15/50-year BTP alongside this.
- We expect a reopening of the on-the-run 3-year 2.35% Jan-29 BTP.

"The Ministry of Economy and Finance has mandated Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A, Barclays Bank Ireland PLC, BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole Corp. Inv. Bank, Morgan Stanley Europe SE and NatWest Markets N.V. for a dual tranche syndicated issuance of a new 7-year BTP due 15 March 2033 and a €5 billion no-grow reopening of the BTP Green (ISIN IT0005631608), with a 4.10% annual coupon and maturing on the 30 April 2046."
- This is also in line with our expectations - we had been looking for a dual-tranche including a 7-year BTP launch, but we had thought next week was more likely.
- We now look for a transaction tomorrow with E12-14bln of the 7-year on offer.
