ENERGY: What to Watch: Rig Counts & COT

- The latest Baker Hughes rig count data is due for release at 13:00ET. The US oil rig count last week edged back up to 481 but the gas rig count dipped to 101 after a recent recovery.
- The ICE and Nymex commitments of traders reports are due for release after the close today at 18:30BST and 15:30ET. Money managers last week increased net long crude positions to the highest since early August and reduced the bearish ICE Gasoil and Nymex diesel positioning.
