EMISSIONS: Energy Association Warns UK Plan Risks Derailing Decarbonisation

The Association for Decentralised Energy (ADE) has warned that the UK government’s new carbon delivery plan risks undermining progress toward net zero by failing to support industrial decarbonisation.
- It said the plan offers “no firm commitments” and “nothing new for industrial electrification,” calling it a “high-stakes gamble” that leaves no credible path to meet legally binding climate goals.
