EdF Luminus has further delayed the start up of the 885MW Seraing CCGT in Belgium until 15 October 2026, with the starting phase set to begin in second quarter of 2026, subject to grid conditions, remit data showed.
- The firm previously delayed the start of the testing phase to 4Q 2025 from 2Q 2025 previously scheduled.
- The Belgian energy ministry said in March that the construction of the plant had been delayed and is now expected to be commissioned in early 2026 versus November 2025 previously.
