LATAM: Ecuador Finance Ministry Raided in Probe

- Prosecutors in Ecuador have searched offices at the Finance Ministry and private residences of some officials overnight, according to a post on X from the Prosecutor General's office
- Investigations are looking into “acts of corruption inside the Ministry of the Economy and Finance”.
- While Finance Minister Vega was present at his office, it is unclear whether he is one of the individuals targeted in the investigation.
