EMISSIONS: EC Disburse €3.66bn From EU ETS Revenue To Support Nine Member States
The EC and EIB have disbursed €3.66bn from the Modernisation Fund, funded by EU ETS revenue, to support 34 energy related projects in nine EU Member States, it said.
- The is the largest disbursement from the Modernisation Fund to date, bringing the total disbursed funding to €19bn since January 2021.
- The 34 supported projects focus on renewable electricity generation, modernisation of energy networks and energy efficiency.
- The beneficiaries of this latest disbursement are Croatia, Czechia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Slovenia.
