• Colombia based Latin American electric transmission line operator known as “ISA” 51% owned by Ecopetrol, the Colombia government-controlled energy company.
• Fitch revised their outlook on Colombia to negative which necessitated a change in the outlook for ISA to negative given the ownership structure.
• The rating agency considers the highly regulated nature of ISA’s transmission business, stable cash flows and geographic diversification as positive factors allowing the company to have a credit rating two notches above the sovereign.
