CHILE: Codelco-SQM Lithium Deal To Be Finalised Before End Of Boric's Term

- The new Economy Minister Alvaro Garcia has said that expects Codelco and local miner SQM to finalise their major lithium partnership deal before the current administration leaves office in 2026, according to a report on Reuters.
- Garcia also said that new lithium operating contracts would be granted next month and that a long awaited law to streamline development permits will come into effect in the coming days.

- Peripheral stats: Indirect take-up climbs to 76.74% vs. 71.5% prior; Direct take-up recedes to 11.62% vs. 23.6% prior; Dealers take rises to 11.64% vs. 4.85% prior.
