COAL: Coal Energy Eyes Funds for Polish Coal mining Restart

Coal Energy shareholders will vote on 5 September to approve a capital increase aimed at financing the company’s planned restart of coal mining operations in Zabrze, Poland, the firm said, cited by ISB news.
- Coal Energy plans to resume mining operations in Poland by deploying technology that can make previously unprofitable mines viable.
- It is currently engaged in financing discussions and has already secured initial commitments from investors, including ABO Securities.
- The decision comes amid Poland’s energy minister Milosz Motyka, saying the country may allow some coal-fired power generation by 2040, MNI previously reported.

- A clear break through the figure would challenge 0.8550/0.8503 20- and 50-day EMA values, but given that the main focus is on Tariffs this Week, some of the momentum could be somewhat more contained.
