Commenting on the latest CPI figures, the CNB noted this morning that growth of some prices - and in particular core inflation - still warrants a cautious policy approach. Michl said following the May 7 rate cut that inflation risks are limiting room for further monetary-policy easing but central bankers are not in agreement whether the latest interest rate cut was the last one in the current cycle. He said then that Board members are leaving all options open for next rate decisions.
