POWER: Alpiq Commissions 30MW BESS in Finland

Alpiq has commissioned a 30MW (36MWh) BESS project in Valkeakoski, Finland, that is meeting grid-forming requirements, it said.
- The project has been in operation since 13 October.
- It is marketed on the system services market and the short-term and intraday markets.
