Spot gold registers another fresh all-time high, even with Tsy yields and the USD higher on the day.
- That particular mix of cross-market moves has become more frequent in recent times, with price insensitive demand (from central bank/official accounts) driving gold higher, even when traditional cross-market relationships should provide some pressure for bullion.
- Spot tops out at $2,739.4/oz (for now).
- Technicals remain bullish, next resistance at the 3.236 projection of the Jul 25 - Aug 2 - Aug 5 price swing ($2,767.1/oz).
