LNG: Malaysia’s Petronas Signs Supply Deal with Pembina for Cedar LNG

Malaysia’s Petronas has agreed to buy 1m mtpa of LNG for 20 years from Canada’s Pembina from the Cedar LNG project, according to a statement cited 

• Pembina is developing Cedar LNG. The FID on the Cedar LNG project in British Columbia was finalised in June 2024, Bloomberg said.
• Pembina took 1.5m mtpa of capacity from the project. With 1m mtpa now supplies to Petronas, 0.5m mtpa remains unsold towards the end of 2025.
