LNG: Italy Recieves First Cargo from Gazprom’s Portovaya LNG

Gazprom’s Portovaya LNG on the Baltic Sea has delivered its first LNG cargo to Italy.
- Cool Rover arrived to FSRU Toscana terminal in the port of Livorno on Dec. 17, according to the LSEG data.
- The arrival is the first import of Russian LNG by Italy since a Yamal cargo arrival in March 2023, Bloomberg said.
- The 1.5mtpa LNG Portovaya facility started operations in September 2022, initially supplying Turkey, Greece and China as well as to Spain.
