TD Securities write “the 5s30s Bund curve continues to flatten on back of the global bearish move in rates led by the front-end. Meanwhile, the seasonal slowdown in duration supply and cash flows have supported the long-end. We still believe that the Bund curve should maintain its inversion theme in the coming weeks; however, we close the trade as we have reached our target and the market is likely to sustain summer ranges without data or events to drive us to new decade lows.”
