"BOOKSTATS: China Res Land Gets >$1.86b Bids for 3Y Green Notes" - BBG
The new USD 3Y fixed deal issued by China Resources Land had over USD1.9bn of orders, equivalent to 6.3x subscribed. Nearly all investors were in Asia (99%).
We had some negative news for the sector, largely expected, from China’s National Bureau of Statistics earlier, showing new residential home sales fell 0.45% month-on-month in October, marking a further deterioration from September (-0.41%).
The new issue will likely remain well supported given its 60% owned by China Resources (Holdings), which in turn is owned by the China State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC).

Price needs to trade below support at 90.26, the Sep 26 low, to reinstate a bearish theme. Initial firm support lies at 90.90, the 20-day EMA.
Westpac recommended a tactical short in the DXY overnight.
Trend signals in Silver remain bullish. The metal traded to a fresh cycle high yesterday, however, price action was volatile and silver is off its latest high. Recent gains have resulted in a move above a major resistance area around the $49.00-$50.00 region. This marks a high point from Jan ‘80 and Apr ‘11 and $50.00 represents a key psychological level. A clear break of this zone strengthens a bull theme. Support to watch is $47.233, the 20-day EMA.
