The CBRT has published its assessment of May inflation data:
- "Exchange rate developments continued to have a discernible, albeit waning, effect on prices of core goods, durable consumption goods in particular."
- "The monthly increase in services prices decelerated, with this deceleration prevailing across all subgroups, except for rents"
- "All indicators of underlying inflation decreased in May compared to the previous month."
- "Analyzed with three-month moving averages, underlying inflation remained on a gradual downtrend."
