US LNG feedgas demand averaged 18.8 Bcf/d over the last week, up 0.2 Bcf/d from the prior week’s average. Operational outages were largely nonexistent this week allowing for feedgas to be fairly steady. Golden Pass is supporting some of the feedgas gains as the facility is starting to show signs of steady deliveries around 250 MMcf/d.
- Golden Pass operations are starting to show signs of ramping ahead of the March 2027 targeted in-service date, but a FERC request to make LNG has not yet been filed. We expect to see this filing before the train begins to ramp to full capacity.
- Golden Pass Pipeline also has mechanically completed the compressor station that is to interconnect with NGPL, but interconnection is on hold due to construction from other pipelines.
- Corpus Christ Stage 3 made progress on train 5, gaining approval to introduce feedgas to train 5.
- Port Arthur Phase 1 construction is progressing on the foundations for Plants 1 and 2, while site prep for Phase 2 is already beginning.
- Commonwealth expects mechanical construction to being in March.
