US TSYS: Tsys Yields Lower, Trump Interview, BoJ shortly

- Short-end tsys outperforming this morning, with the curve bull-steepening a touch. The 2yr is -1.9bps at 4.27%, while the 10yr is -1bps at 4.634%
- TU is trading above its overnight highs last +00⅝ at 102-23⅞, while TY is +01 at 108-13. The medium-term trend futures is unchanged and remains bearish. TY has traded through the 20-day EMA, at 108-17+. This exposes 109-06, the Dec 31 high, and 109-15, the 50-day EMA. A clear break of the 50-day average is required to strengthen a bullish theme. The bear trigger is unchanged at 107-06, the Jan 13 low.
- The 2nd part of the Trump interview on Fox news is starting now, expected to be a bit more focused on foreign policy, while the BoJ is in its announcement window
